Meal Preppin’ & Life Saving Solutions

Love to have it but hate to do it and I love to cook.

We all know very well that it’s the key to our diet successes. We are all to familiar with the consequences of coming home to nothing prepared and inhaling whatever you can get your hands on. Basically whatever’s in the pantry or fridge. I know that by the time you’ve finished preparing dinner for the “kids” you’ve dipped your fork in atleast 10 times. When you do get to sit down with your family your now consuming a second portion. And then you wonder why you just can’t lose that weight.

You were good all day right?

Brought your chicken and salad to work ate everything you packed and stayed away from the timbits in the staff room. So why not the same careful planning for when you get to your even weaker environment home?

At home is where the temptation is. Your tired and emotional and more likely to succumb to your kids Rice Krispies snacks. You need to open that fridge and see your meals there ready to go. Your just adding dressing to your salad or heating up the chicken and veggies.

That’s how turn key your food at home needs to be. If your determined to get to your goals you fit into one of two options.
1. Meal prep 2x per week
2. Food prep delivery services
If your not honest with yourself and realize the importance of having your meals ready I can promise you, you will NEVER get to your goals.
Here are the advantages to both.
If your doing your own food you do need to spend some time and money on preparing but it becomes clock work and you prep like a pro. Meal delivery services are so affordable now that it’s almost better to have someone else do it if your like myself and wish there were more hours in the day to work.

My time is valuable.

My father once said to me why would he sweep the floors when someone will do it that charges half his salary. He should be fixing cars and someone else will sweep the floors. Same goes for getting your food delivered.

I can take on 2 extra clients per week or do my own bookkeeping for 3 hours for the same price as having my meals delivered. Personally I’d rather earn some cash and improve my business at this point in my life then spend all day in the kitchen. I also have very limited time to spend with my kids.
Now that’s not to say that I wasn’t in the kitchen for years doing our meal preps. I wasn’t working and meal prep was always a very important part of our lives.

So you have to be honest with yourself. And do one or the other because doing neither is not an option when trying to lose weight and get to your goals.

Pic shown onelifemeals.com my meal prep guys. I love them for how easy they have made it for me. As low as $120.00 per week for 12 meals.
